Montrose Meeting Notes 5/5/16

 Here’s a re-cap of what we went over on Thursday’s meeting:

·        Stickers with old dates need to be removed from book spines. This would be a good task for volunteers and the summer intern.

·        Two of our volunteers are sisters. Please give them separate tasks so they can work individually.

·        SRP calendars are out on the desks for the public to take.

·        SRP registration starts in June. We’ll have a training at the next meeting.

·        Kids should enter books/hours individually in order to help them get credit for each thing they read.  Staff is not responsible for entering lists for them. However, we can show them how to do it.

·        SRP prizes will be pre-packaged.

·        There will not be any circus tickets this year.

·        Kandis will be doing serials now.  Alex will be the backup.

·        A question was asked about filing back issues of newspapers. There should be 5 to a hang file.

·        Be sure to close out credit cards on SmartMoney. Also, remember to put in the approval code for the transaction.
