Montrose Meeting Notes - 5/31/2018

Here’s a re-cap of what we went over on Thursday’s meeting:

• Kandis got her 10 year certificate and pin today!
• Djuina will be doing timesheets for this pay period ending Friday, June 1^st. Updates must be emailed to her by 5:00pm on the 1^st, or they will not be included.
• Montrose staff re-signed the attendance policy information. This time it was in the form of a memo from Dr. Lawson and was required by Neighborhood Libraries Admin. The Mayor is cracking down on absenteeism. Those reaching 64 hours of sick time must provide a doctor’s note. If there is no note, the time will be recorded as unscheduled vacation or awol.
• Admin expects to announce who was chosen for the following jobs by the next Managers meeting in June; LIV Senior Manager, Youth Manager, LV Customer Experience Manager.
• Monthly reports are due June 7^th. Please remember to do your online Monthly Report. Melissa is doing WPRS and this information is necessary. This is a Smart Goal for everyone. Melissa will be starting Annual Reviews in mid-June, so please put anything you want to be considered in the Monthly Report log.
• Robinson and Scenic Woods had their openings.
• We will no longer be doing paper registration for library cards after June 30^th. People should be directed to the catalog computer to apply for a card. Please send any questions to me so that I may forward them.
• Collection HQ will be changed to a Branch Account, rather than individual accounts.
• Contact Chris Patrick for AV cases.
• HPL will no longer order music CDs or audiobooks when the new fiscal year starts.
• Reference collections will continue to shrink.
• Be sure to do in-house use.
• Alex said that documents will eventually be done on One Drive rather than Google.
• Updates from Courtnie:
• SRP starts tomorrow, June 1^st.
• Prizes aren’t here yet.
• Montrose SRP Calendars for both months are available and on the Circ counter.
• Events that require registration are marked with an ‘R’ on the calendars. This means that the participant needs to contact Courtnie to register for it. If Courtnie is out, please email the person’s information.
• We have received our button maker but don’t have the lanyards or graphics yet.  
• Courtnie is expecting items in delivery. They have a yellow HOLD sticker and are marked MNT Circulation. Please put them on her desk. Several have already been put on shelves by mistake. She needs these items for SRP programs.
• Courtnie will increase frequency of cleaning toys.
• Everyone should watch the Beanstack video as a refresher.
