I am pleased to announce that two PowerPoints with voice over by Michael Kelsch, Assistant Managing Director of Houston Housing Authority, is on the HPL Staff Training Portal:http://training.houstonlibrary.org/HHA2016 Staff may also access the portal from the intranet.
I am requesting that all customer focused staff view both videos. Our goal is to familiarize everyone with theHouston Housing Voucher Program itself and the Wait List Opening which features the step-by-step process for the customer. HPL staff will be assisting customers the following: signing up for computers, providing assistance in computer labs, finding the link to the website and helping set up email accounts. Staff is not completing the applications for the customers. The information provided in the training PowerPoints is for us to know how to respond to questions.
In order to receive 30 minutes of training credit for viewing both videos, we ask that each location use the attached sign in sheet and turn it into HPL Training. I encourage everyone to take the training before September 19th. Please turn in all sign in sheets no later than the end of business on Friday, September 23rd.
