Emergency Weather Message for All City Employees

The winter weather expected to impact Houston Thursday evening and Friday morning may result in hazardous driving conditions.  As a result, a City of Houston decision concerning non-essential employees delayed reporting time will be made at 4:00 AM Friday 01/24/2014 based on existing and forecasted weather and roadway conditions.  After the decision is made, employees can visit the OEM webpage at houstontx.gov/emergency, tune into local media stations, or follow their department’s established Emergency Personnel procedures.  Employees may also signup at alert.houstonoem.orgto receive the information via Alert Houston.
