Notes From The Recent Manager's Meeting

-We need to stay on top of doing the Sprockets
-After June 20th, there will be no more serials check ins, no deletions, no new books, no floating materials, etc. Can only check in and check out. This will be the case until July 11th.
-Delete all discards before June 20th.
-July 3rd-11th. We will use SirsiDynix offline. No holds placed, no filled holds, no ILL's and no fines paid.
-Mini-hiring event next week to finish off the new hires.
-Collier is planned to re-open on the 3rd Monday of June
-Pop-up library is where we go out and give a little program to groups of K-3rd grade kids. They should be in a disadvantaged area. Go to the Community Engagement part of the website to request the Pop Up Library for a customer. It must be an organization, not for a personal party.
-The Pop Up Library starts June 1st. They will hand out punch cards, similar to what we have used in our programs. We will have a one-hole punch to punch them. They will have several things they can do to receive a punch. After three punches they get a free book. These books will be sent and kept separate from the summer reading books prizes. The limit is 25 kids at a time for the program.
